AVATAR MEHER BABA KI JAI!
This site Mehernitya Creations is dedicated to my father Mr. S.S. Mathur
who taught me humility, love and sincerity. He also taught me that the
only truth worth knowing is: "Ours is not to question why, ours is but
to do and die." He personified this. Now I know why we call Meher the
Compassionate Father. I go a step further now, and look at Meher Baba's
photo and find all the ones I love in it.
Mehernitya Creations is an online store where
you will find 4 types of products: 1) Meher Baba items, 2) Tailoring
services to custom-make garments at value for money prices with
impeccable finishing 3) Interesting knick knacks like anklets,
bangles, bracelets, etc. and 4) Exports. Mehernitya Creations has an
export license issued by the Government of India for a wide range of
products, that include handicrafts, kitchen utility items,
brass/bronze/marble statues, garments and Sankheda furniture to name
a few. Please refer to the pictures in the Exports Section.
We also source specific products on demand for
our clients at good quality and competitive prices. Please indicate
the product(s) you are interested in and we will get back with the
product details.
Mehernitya Creations has exhibited Meher Baba
products at the Amartitihi function from the year 2000.
‘Amartithi’ is a function held at Meherabad, India, in memory of the
day Avatar Meher Baba dropped his physical body on January 31st,
1969. It is a three day event, held every year from the 30th of
January to February 1st, marked by devotional songs, plays, and
other cultural tributes performed by members from various Meher Baba
Centres across India. At this function, there are also stalls
exhibiting Meher Baba products. It is here that Mehernitya Creations
has been exhibiting Meher Baba products.
This is the first time I have been inspired to set up a website and
add to it my designing and tailoring services. My virtual store
would be incomplete without the inclusion of various, very
interesting articles, that I believe, will capture your heart
too. This, in essence, is an extension of my personality. In
creating garments and designs for you I wish to capture your
personality and bring out the unspoken, internal beauty that each
person possesses.
Nitya is my 6.5 year-old daughter who has sat with me at the stall
ever since she was 1. Meher Baba works in funny ways and all this
came about because
of a drawing I did and sent to the late Rob Narke for his book “Baba
Baba
Everywhere.” Subsequently Rob asked me to do another illustration
for the
book and put the idea of getting the illustration onto T-shirts.
That was
the beginning to this. This site would be incomplete, without my
sincere
thanks to him!
