FAQ'S ON THE TAILORING SERVICES…
The designing and tailoring services at Mehernitya Creations, dispels the
myth that custom-made products are too high priced for me! How you would
ask? Simply by working out of Mumbai, India, the triple advantages of low
labour cost, design talent and superior quality material, are passed on to
the customer. The result is an affordable, well-fitted and finished
garment! Since we take great care in getting your size and style
measurements and there is no problem of miscommunication or `language
problems', there will be no `trial and error' and there will be no
ill-fitting garment.
You may ask how can we rely on tailor-made products over the net?
I would ask the same question too; hence I have tried to be as upfront as
possible to address your concerns:
1) No physical contact, so the fit can go wrong…
Sure they can, if meticulous preparation in taking and executing your
order with impeccable high standard tailoring is not followed or if the
information provided by you is incorrect. That is why I have developed the
following FORMS not only for your measurements, but also your personality
and style to help me design a garment exclusive to you. Its not `One size
fits All.' It's not `off the racks.' These pieces are custom made with a
person in mind and not just plain numeric measurements. Hence the
difference!
The SIZE SHEET shows YOU how to take
measurements that are easy to take yet fulfill the detailed requirements I
need to make a garment flatter your body shape with a fit perfect only for
you.
The STYLE SHEET asks you few easy questions to
assess your taste and personality, to develop a style for what you order,
that ultimately compliments the fit, comfort and finishing to produce a
garment that will be all you! You can brief me via email or discuss with
me directly on chat about your likes, dislikes in garment styles, prints
and fits if you would like to be doubly sure. Styled based on individual
personality and body shape.
PERSONAL DATABASE MAINTAINED
Once you have ordered from us, we maintain your personal data, so
re-ordering is easy. Should you feel that your measurements have changed,
the Size and Style sheets can be re-filled by you so we may update our
records. Thus, different types of garments can be ordered without several
new measurement requirements.
2) How can I order without any touch or feel of
the fabric…?
First of all, only the finest, high quality soft fabrics are used. There
are no hard to touch fabrics. These have been graded into 3 grades
depending on the yarn, Grade A being super fine quality, Grade B being
Fine, and Grade C being basic, Daily Wear. Even Grade C, is of good
quality yarn and soft to touch. All wash and light iron at home.
As far as the touch and feel goes, the fabrics are available in only soft
materials of PURE/MIXED COTTON, CHIFFON, GEORGETTE, SILK, and CREPE.
